Digital Fabrication/Fab@School

Featured Speaker: Dr. Glen Bull, University of Virginia via Skype

Currently working with Lovett to maximize their STEM curriculum. Would like to expand this to include a group of independent schools in the Atlanta areas.

Focus on Grades 4-8.

Connecting Math & Engineering
Creating models and then creating the object with a Digital Fabrication "printer". This 2D fabrication machine creates the product the kids made on the computer program. Math and engineering skills are both needed to create the objects.

Link YouTube videos here! (did not have access at the meeting :-/)
